Choice of tea sets

When brewing black tea, it is recommended to use a white porcelain covered bowl, which is easy to brew tea quickly, does not absorb the tea fragrance or tea taste, and the tea fragrance can be perfectly preserved, allowing you to better feel the changes in the aroma, and the tea flavor can be well released, with a mellow and sweet fragrance.

Amount of tea

According to the personal taste of the drinker, generally 4.5~5 grams, 120ml covered bowl, the brewed tea soup is just the right strength. Too much will make it bitter, too little will make it bland.

Choose water

The water for brewing black tea should be "soft water" with low magnesium content. Spring water is the best, as it contains the least calcium and magnesium compounds and contains a variety of minerals needed by the human body. Purified water is second best.

The recommended water temperature is 90-100 degrees. For tender tea, the water temperature should not be too high. For older tea, the water temperature can be relatively higher.

Warm cup

When pouring boiling water into the cup, you must first warm the cup to avoid too much change in water temperature, which will fail to stimulate the aroma of the black tea.

Brewing technique

Fixed-point high-flow pouring: Pour water at a fixed point, with a high flow of water. Do not pour water towards the tea leaves. Pour water along the wall of the container to make the tea leaves roll up and down, which is conducive to the expansion of the tea leaves, and the release of the inner quality of the tea is rapid, which is conducive to stimulating the tea fragrance, making the aroma high, and increasing the saturation and richness of the tea soup.

Soup time

Black tea generally requires quick in and out, so when brewing black tea, the first 4 infusions take 5 seconds to pour out the tea, and each subsequent infusion will be extended by 5 seconds. If you want a stronger tea, you can soak it for a longer time.
