Daqi Master--Shaoqing Ma

Gift of national essence and responsibility of inheritance

He always said that "national gift is the best gift for Heytea people". However, behind the word "gift" are more hard work and love, perseverance and inheritance of art.
"Each piece of mechanism has the ability to express emotions, because the unique life language conveyed by the owner's cup is also different."
He often returns to Senshanli, his hometown in Nanping, and stays there for more than ten days and nights, just to find a good piece of wood that suits the creation. It is common to go from Xiamen to Jingdezhen and then to Yixing to find porcelain materials. Before each creation, he will also do a lot of historical book research, or go to museums around the country to feel the charm of Chinese culture left over after a thousand years. The purpose is to convey the inheritance concept and life value of national essence to every collector in order to pursue the truth of art.
Master Shaoqing has been focusing on the fancy design of lacquer art for more than ten years. Most of his works are based on the modern interpretation of Chinese traditional culture. He has won many domestic professional awards and accumulated quite solid professional capabilities.
The "Zhuo Fan" lacquer brand was founded in 2014 by chance. We adhere to the spirit of craftsmanship, inherit Chinese traditional craftsmanship, and are committed to bringing this gift to every Heytea lover.
The traditional lacquer and ceramics have made a meaningful cross-border combination, which not only surpasses the ideological scope of wooden lacquer and bodiless lacquerware, but also makes the creativity and comprehensiveness of lacquer a qualitative leap.
As the pioneer of lacquer porcelain cups in China, each work has gone through more than a dozen processes such as piling lacquer, drying in the shade, covering lacquer, lacquering, polishing, polishing, and wiping. When the lacquer surface is processed, more than 35 layers are required to make the lacquer porcelain cups more layered and colorful. The gold foil, silver foil, gold powder and other materials integrated into the lacquer layer are all edible. The pure lacquer cup will improve its layering and brightness over time. This is the so-called patina layer. The principle is very simple. It is formed by the reaction of plant lacquer and water vapor in the air, commonly known as paint opening. Sometimes, in order to complete each layer of paint, it is applied randomly with uneven thickness, and the strength of the subsequent sanding varies. Although they look similar, each piece of work is unique and cannot be copied.

The wings of inheritance and the foundation of innovation

"Inheritance is the foundation of innovation, and the foundation of innovation is inheritance."

"Nowadays, more and more people like lacquer, and ordinary people's understanding of lacquer is gradually improving. Lacquer is no longer a label for "rich people", and lacquer cups and tea trays are gradually entering the homes of every tea lover," said Ma Shaoqing. In order to make lacquer art continue to heat up and diversify its forms of expression, Ma Shaoqing continues to innovate. The concept of "lacquer art +" is based on traditional lacquer art, comprehensively considers the aesthetic and practical value of modern people, explores the possibility of integrating lacquer with multiple materials, and develops a series of supporting products for lacquer in tea ceremony and Buddhism, such as tea packaging gift boxes made of lacquer and wood using bodiless lacquerware technology; lacquer tea knives, tea trays, copper incense burners, etc. made of lacquer and brass using bodiless lacquerware technology; and lacquer coasters and tea trays made of lacquer and Shoushan stone using bodiless lacquerware technology.
